Your activism and support are crucial to AzCDL-PAC success!

The Arizona Citizens Defense League Political Action Committee (AzCDLPAC) is supported primarily by the Arizona Citizens Defense League (AzCDL) Board of Directors and its ever-increasing membership. The AzCDL was founded by a group of local activists who recognized that a sustained, coordinated, statewide effort was critical to protecting and expanding the rights of law-abiding gun owners. The need to reach our goals, protecting and expanding gun rights in Arizona, brought us to realize we must deal with the people who are elected by us — the citizens of Arizona — and who then write the laws that will do just that or may in fact limit our rights. We therefore want to support those elected official and candidates for office who think as our members do (as it pertains to firearm ownership) and oppose those who are of a different mind-set, especially those who believe that citizens should not be allowed to possess firearms of any kind.

We therefore set out to do just that, support or oppose those elected officials, and candidates for office, who would write the laws. To do so we had to, by law, start what is referred to as a political action committee (PAC), as the AzCDL itself is and will remain a 501(c)(4) organization within the rules of the IRS. Hence this website, and the beginning of the Arizona Citizens Defense League Political Action Committee (AzCDL-PAC).
